1. Areas of study
Is my major eligible for a scholarship?

2. Incoming students
I am an incoming student, and I do not yet have a portfolio in my major (or intended major). Do I need to submit a portfolio to be eligible for the scholarship?

3. Portfolio composition
When I check off my area of study, does all of the work I submit in my portfolio need to be of that one discipline? Or is it possible to give a representation of a couple of disciplines which I am studying?

4. Financial aid
If I haven’t filed for Financial Aid by the time the application is due, am I still able to apply for a scholarship? What if I do file for Financial Aid but do not receive my Financial Aid notification before the scholarship deadline?

5. Do you return any material I send to you?
Do you return any of the disks, transcripts or letters of recommendation that I send to you?

6. High School students
I am currently a high school senior, but I’m planning to enroll in college next year. Am I eligible for the scholarships or are they only for current college students?

7. Not yet enrolled
I am currently in the process of applying to graduate school (or applying to transfer schools). May I apply for a scholarship before I have been formally enrolled in school? Is it possible to submit an application and then submit my Financial Aid information and certification of enrollment at a later date?

8. Graduating in December
I will be graduating from college or graduate school in December 2010. Do I still qualify for a Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship?

9. Starting school in January
I will be entering college or graduate school in January 2010. Do I still qualify for a Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship?

10. Not a minority
I am not a minority, but I am struggling financially and in need of a scholarship. Do I qualify?

12. Semester abroad
I am planning to spend a semester abroad through my university. Am I still eligible for a scholarship?

13. U.S. schools abroad
I am studying full time at a United States university abroad (outside of the United States). Am I eligible for a scholarship?

Are international students eligible for Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships?

15. Portfolios in digital format
I would like to apply for a scholarship, but most of my work is digital, web-based, or computer graphics. Will a URL or “e-portfolio” in digital format suffice in place of a disk or up-loaded images on your web site?

16. Portfolio size
I’d like to know if it is possible to send my portfolio in a booklet or letter size format.

17. I don’t have a computer
I do not have a computer so I can’t up-load images to the Web site for my portfolio.

What qualifies as Interactive design?

19. Changing majors
I have not yet declared my major (or I am thinking of changing my major). When filling out the application for this scholarship, do I list my current major or the one that I’ll be taking up next year?

20. Recommendations + Transcripts
Should I enclose my letters of recommendation and transcripts with my application or send them separately in sealed envelopes?

21. Transcripts
Must transcripts be official and sealed, or are unofficial transcripts acceptable?

22. Use of scholarship funds
Can I use my scholarship to pay for specific projects, for example, films, thesis work, or exhibitions?

What type of photographic portrait are you looking for and what is it used for?

24. Reapplication
Can past Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship recipients reapply?

25. Hard copy of application
I am unable to download the application. How can I get a copy of the application?
